Web design & development in Ivybridge.

// home turf · southern edge of dartmoor

Willcocks Web is based on the southern edge of Dartmoor, which makes Ivybridge home turf rather than a place on a service-area list. Some of the work is visible from town: the online booking system for Mutts on the Moor, the dog field up on the moor's edge, and the members' site for the Harford & Ugborough Commoners' Association, who manage 1,671 hectares of the moorland that Ivybridge backs onto.

Being local matters for the boring, practical reasons. We can meet in person before you commit to anything, and when something needs changing after launch you're dealing with someone ten minutes away rather than a ticket queue. For trades, dog-walkers, B&Bs, therapists and anyone else working the A38 corridor between Plymouth and Totnes, the brief is usually the same: a site that looks professional, loads instantly on a phone, and tells Google exactly where you work.

That last part is the one most Ivybridge businesses are missing. The searches that bring customers are specific — "electrician Ivybridge", "dog boarding South Brent" — and answering them takes a properly built page per service and area, not a single homepage hoping for the best.
