Web design & development in Totnes.

// a town of independents deserves an independent developer

Totnes runs on independents — the high street from the Eastgate down to the river is one of the few in Devon not colonised by chains, and the town supports an unusual density of therapists, food producers, makers, galleries and small practices. For businesses like that, a website that visibly came from a template undercuts the whole point. If your shopfront is one of a kind, your site being the same Squarespace theme as everyone else's is a small ongoing act of self-sabotage.

Every site I build is designed from scratch — no themes, no page builders — which suits Totnes briefs unusually well. It also suits Totnes values: the static sites I build are the lowest-energy way to run a website (no server churning 24/7 for a site that changes monthly), carry no tracking cookies, and need no consent banner.

I'm twenty minutes away on the A38, so meeting over a coffee in town before any commitment is the normal way to start.
